Hollywood Meets AI-Native Entertainment at GMI Summer Signal '26

As AI moves from generating individual assets to becoming part of end-to-end creative workflows, the conversation is shifting from "Can AI create?" to "How is AI actually changing entertainment?"
On September 14, GMI Summer Signal '26: The Modern Renaissance will bring together AI founders, creators, enterprise leaders, investors, and entertainment professionals at San Francisco's Exploratorium to explore what comes next. Hosted by GMI Cloud, the one-day summit focuses on the transition from multimodal AI to agentic systems, combining keynote presentations, live demonstrations, industry conversations, and an immersive digital gallery of AI-created work.
As part of SHÙ Studio's partnership with GMI Summer Signal, Real Reel will curate a featured conversation exploring the future of AI-native entertainment.
"From Hollywood to AI-Native Entertainment" brings together leaders from traditional Hollywood production, AI-native studios, and technology companies—not to debate whether AI belongs in the room, but to compare notes on where it's already working in production, where it isn't yet, and what's still standing between experimentation and scale. The speaker lineup will be announced in the coming weeks.
Real Reel also has a limited number of complimentary passes available for members of our community.
If you're working in film, television, AI, gaming, creative technology, or digital storytelling and would like to attend, we'd love to hear from you.

The Community Challenge
Summer Signal isn't just about watching conversations—it also invites creators to become part of the event itself.
Selected submissions will become part of the event's digital gallery at the Exploratorium, alongside work from leading AI companies and creative teams. GMI Cloud is also offering free credits through its Discord community to help creators participate, with selected submissions receiving additional prizes from GMI Cloud.
For filmmakers, artists, AI creators, and creative technologists, this is an opportunity not only to experiment with new tools, but also to showcase work in front of an audience of founders, studios, investors, and enterprise leaders shaping the future of AI entertainment.
